Anyway! A little about her~~

Name – Melody Angel Pates
Ethnicity – Chinese, and Ambiguous American. Mostly American /yeaaa
Eyes - Olive green (and huge when she's looking at you)
Hair - Dark brown and last her elbows

Story-

She can’t remember her life before 5th grade, but she isn’t worried about that in the slightest. What’s in the past is in the past and if her brain decided to block out her childhood, it’s probably for good reason. She had an abusive father and a strongly religious mother, both were accountants. Her father would beat her constantly for screwing up the tiniest things, from grades to eating improperly at the dinner table. Any time she stepped a toe out of line, she was harshly punished. In the midst of all of this, her father ordered her to make nice with his lawyer friend’s son, Scott Vance. They started dating but she wasn’t particularly into him, more doing it because her father was pushing her so hard. Marrying into a well off, normal, stable family was important to him. Her father later died in a horrible car accident, leaving her and her house wife of a mother alone to fend for themselves. She continued to work, but other than working, sleeping, and eating, the woman did little else. Scott took up the responsibility for keeping Melody, well, alive, but much like her late father, her boyfriend abused her as well. Her mother didn’t quite have her wits about her after her beloved husband had passed so she ignored her daughter’s pleas for help and simply said over and over: “Maybe you deserve it.” Scott continued to put her down in every way he knew how. He once tied her up and locked her in a closet while inebriated, broke her arm on ‘accident’, accused her multiple times of cheating, which lead to heart tugging fights, and much more. He certainly wasn’t the man her father thought he was. And each time she tried to escape him, he would threaten suicide, or threaten her life at his hand.
Her mother was so severely broken up by her husband’s death; she developed a disease called advanced cardio-myopathy (heart break syndrome) and died of a heart attack. Once she finished grieving for both of her parents, she decided to make a new life for herself by switching her major from accounting (her parents wanted her to follow in their footsteps) to the arts. She wants to author a book, but in the mean time she’s fascinated by photography and music. As for Scott, she finally got freed of him by her current boyfriend, Fineas “Kirian” Kinney. She doesn’t know what happened to him exactly, though she doesn’t ask questions about that if she can help it, though she does know, whatever happened to him warranted a trip to the hospital and possibly a mental facility.
As for her current beau, she couldn’t be happier with, though he’s certainly different than the upstanding men her father would have had her marry. He’s a pendeo, addicted to pain, with brilliant mismatched eyes, an Irish accent that could make anyone melt, and a thing for scars. A passionate man to be sure, and one she is falling in love with rather quickly.

Fun other stuff :’D

- The first item she ever bought was a silver chain, thin and unextraordinary , though she had her eye on it months before she bought it. This was after she landed her first job at a Taco Bell.

- Her spirit is very hard to break, and she has a remarkably high tolerance for pain
- She has a very high resolve. She has a lot of spunk and fight in her, determined to not have people walk all over her any more like Scott and her father did

- Her weapon of choice is a Chain and Lock, hence the chain in the picture. And MAN does it hurt.

- She won't ever ever ever ever ever kill anyone. Ever.
- She can speak English, Chinese, and French, but Chinese and French aren't terribly fluent. She has a heavy American accent.
- She can't help dancing to the song 'Calling London' every time he hears it.
