Physical Appearance: He's sweeping and handsome. His hair falls to his shoulders with a delicate, casual elegance. His jaw is hard and pronounced. His eyes are average and brown. When he was a child, many said he had 'cow eyes' though now a days no one gets close enough to examine them since that would be inappropriate. He is, afterall, a teacher. No doubt, this guy is distinctly mannish. He has pale creme smooth skin and an average, muscular build. He is rather good-looking and he knows it, though he's one of those people who don't acknowledge it what so ever.

Likes: Scaring people (it's fun!), Quidditch teaching, reading, charms, being there for students, and eating (the way to his heart is through his stomach)
Dislikes: Being interrupted, not being taken seriously as a teacher just because he's nice, loud noises, and the fact that technology doesn't work at the castle. (A life without his PSP? Oh god no!)

History: He grew in in france. He has one brother and three sisters. His eldest brother, Phillip was 8 when he was born (which would make him 37 now) and his older sister, Bianca, was 5 (which would make her 34). All three of them were born in France to their witch parents. One was a half-blood, and the other a muggleborn. His next sibling came after him. His younger sister, Marilyn was born when he was 4, and she's a squib, but she was able to attend hogwarts anyway, despite her minimal magical powers. As for his last brother, he is fairly young, and their parent's last child: Bishop, currently 15 and in the hufflepuff house. Luka had a relatively normal childhood. Growing up with all those siblings was never so bad because their house was big enough to accommodate them all, and in addition to that, his parents adored all of their children. Luka learned the craft relatively early, mostly from his parents and older siblings. He later taught what he had learned to his younger siblings, thus completing the circle of life. Sort of.
When he was fourteen, he took a trip to St. Mungo's that sparked his fear and hatred for hospitals. He won't really talk about it, and he'll only go to the hospital wing or Mungo's if one of his family members or a student he truly cares for is in trouble.
He's a quick study and he became an (unregistered) animagus around his 6th or 7th year. Later, he registered it with the ministry and bounced around from job to job there. None were quite fulfilling, so he opted to teach at Hogwarts. He didn't anticipate that it would be as rewarding as it was. Instead of staying for a year, he has been teaching for nine. One of the main reasons he stayed was that his little brother attends school, and he wishes to be there to keep an eye on him.
Personality: He's the most laid back teacher you will ever meet. He's nice and sweet. Calm, cool, and collected pretty much at all times. He's strict out of necessity, really, he rarely shows his ugly side, but don't be fooled! 'Rarely' doesn't mean 'never'. He doesn't have very much of a temper and he gets along well with most people. He's very sociable. He also can play music: a guitar and a piccolo lay on his desk in the study beside his classroom. When his younger siblings are involved, or any of them really, he can be a smidgen bossy or judgmental, "for their own good". He often chides Bishop for dressing like he's relaxing at home for the evening instead of going to class or Marilyn for being too quiet at the dinner table.

Family:

Father: Simon André Demoux - Very nurturing and caring. He's the quiet type, and in his old age he takes to wandering the house or drinking tea rather than something dangerous. He would have been a Hufflepuff while at school if he had gone to Hogwarts. He is a Beauxbatons man. He used to work for the ministry but now he has taken to retirement quite nicely. He and his wife are well off enough from his earnings to live comfortably and travel. (Currently 58 years old)
Mother: Antoinette Beatrice Demoux (nee Prior)- She's intense and fiery. She's a few years younger than her husband, and she's still the daredevil she was years ago. She was a Slytherin while at school. She used to be a dragon herder, but now she's opted for tamer odd jobs here and there on her travels. (Currently 55 years old)
Brother: Caleb Westly Demoux- He's very talkative and sociable like Luka. He's like an older version of him, really, only considerably less lazy. He's the only other Demoux that made it into Gryffindor (other than his brother) He's now a professional Quidditch player (Currently 31 years old)
Sister: Bianca Illana Demoux- She's spunky and sassy. Her input is always a funny joke of an amusing observation. She's the joker of the family. She was in Slytherin like her mother while at school. She is currently following in her footsteps and herding dragons overseas in America. She contemplates teaching at one of their schools: The Salem Witches Institute since Luka tells her it is rewarding work. (Currently 25 years old)
Sister: Marilyn Alishia Demoux- Though she is a squib, no one looks down on her for it, at least none that she knows of. She is brilliantly book smart and decent in spell work. She had some power, but it's faint. She purchased a Quickspell booklet and practiced for years until she reached the point of mediocrity. Now she works for the Improper use of magic office in the Ministry of Magic. She was unable to go to Hogwarts, due to being a squib. She's bitter that the only time she has gotten to visit the place was to pick up Bishop for holidays. (Currently 20 years old)
Brother: Bishop Tanner Demoux- He is most like Simon, nurturing, caring, and sweet, although he does have a youthful mischief about him that's hard to ignore. He, to the confusion of his family, is a Slytherin like Bianca and his mother. He, like Bianca, enjoy pranks and causing trouble and participating in sports. He is, unfortunately, hopefully indecisive. He has said before that he'd like to move to America with Bianca one day and be a dragon wrangler, but in all honesty, he has no idea what he wants to do with the rest of his life.
