History: Contrary to popular belief, Ping had a normal upbringing. No one knows why he acts the way he does, he just does, okay. Li says he ran with a bad crowd when he was at school, but the truth is, he made the bad crowd at school. Ping is most like his mother of the four boys. He’s the quickest to get into a fight, solving things with his fists first and his words never, which means he's the complete opposite of his twin brother, Wei. He can be greedy, and he possesses a violent, mean streak that isn’t displayed by any of his brothers. He wasn't terribly worried about his grades as a school kid, but was always good at sports and moving around. He likes to dance, exercise, and just not standing still in general. This restlessness is what attracted him to the arena in the first place. He dislikes admitting defeat or apologizing. He’s extremely protective of Tao (more so than the other two) and usually looks to his little brother for company when he needs it; it has been this way since they were children). When their father grew ill, he offered to work full time and quit Pro-Bending like Li did, but Li refused adamantly, so he spends most of his time training. Li saw how happy Pro-Bending made his brother, and approved of this positive outlet for his stress (not that Ping needed his approval; he does what he wants). However tough he may act, Ping is a good-hearted kid who sticks up for his friends and his family. When his father got better, a huge weight was lifted off of his shoulders and he became more amiable, especially towards his younger brother, Tao-Ru. One day when it was his turn to drive him to school, the two were almost mugged. Using his bending, he held them of and subdued them for the police, who were so impressed, they promptly offered him a job. (Li approves of all of these positive outlets)
