►Abilities: Limited Psychic Energy Manipulation ( Specifically limited to telekinesis/telepathy, psychic shields, psionic push, and energy strikes)

+ Telekinesis/Telepathy: The ability to lift objects with the power of her mind, as well as push her thoughts into the minds of others (no, she can’t read your mind) Say she was gagged and had no way of calling for help, or say she wanted to have a conversation with someone right under the nose of someone else. This power comes in handy.
+ Tactile Telekinesis: utilize a personal force field of telekinetic energy, protecting her from (low-level) harm and enhancing her physical abilities (speed, strength etc.)
+ Psionic Push: Can create and discharge concentrated forms of psychic energy to disperse over a wide area. Can also control the shape of the path with practice.

At the shop in China Town, she mostly repairs and sells bicycles (cars and trucks in the rare scenarios where those actually come in and need fixing). She migrates to Metroplex a lot for work to access the metro-mainframe and fix problems at the source.
►Background: Mother from Metroplex (a Lawyer) and a father from the Jewel District (Doctor). She is never without money when she needs it because of her parents, but she pretty much never looks to them to support her. She lives humbly (which is putting it lightly), rejecting the glamor of being wealthy.





General Personality



►Likes: Traveling. It’s her dream to visit America, but she was born on this quarantined Island, so she contents herself with moving frequently from district to district. Exercising, getting to the heart of the matter, freedom, ‘feeling’, danger, motorized vehicles, particularly motorcycles, a good debate, intelligence and precision
►Dislikes: Off the wall theories, being tied down or constrained, bothering with the details, silence (but that’s more of a fear than a dislike), stagnancy, losing or being wrong, ‘flower girl’ clothing, being unproductive, and her own unfortunately lazy nature.

The short hand wraps her personality up in a neat little package, but she is so much more than that. She’s inherited her mother’s robust, mannish, talkative, assertive nature. She is a delight to be around (hah, no not really) She has the potential to be a delight to be around (that’s better), but she can, at times, be a little brash and blunt with her words. Her personality can often change, as if chameleon-ing to someone else’s preferred communication type. She’s desperately clumsy, family oriented, and an absolute sap for sob stories. She has a jealous, abrasive side to her, and she won’t ever admit defeat, even when she knows she’s wrong (true blooded American, amirite). It’s also hard for her to accept responsibility and/or settle down. Being self-assured and self-reliant, she’s naturally inclined to operating on her own where her freedom won’t be curbed any further. Her standards for efficiency are high, as is her ambition, though unfortunately she can be a lazy butt sometimes. More often than not, she can’t sit still and will sooner take a jog or go to the gym than nap, but she has those days where she won’t want to get off the couch. She’s devoted and self-sacrificing for those she calls family and friends, but devotion and kindness are two different things entirely. She knows how to carry herself in different crowds, but sometimes she can’t be bothered to care about appearances. She’s relaxed and spontaneous, and relatively off beat compared to the rest of her siblings. She’s also fairly smart and bright, and not at all gifted with art. She gives way to anger, almost literally exploding and saying things she regrets later, even though it may not have been her intention to be hurtful.






Biography



►History:

I’ll keep this short and sweet, rather than bore you with more monotonous details. Ike Fray was born to Georginetto and Ichia Frasier on Kagoshima Island—but I’ll get to that in a second. George was a traveler in his youth and he was bound to England, but he simply couldn’t leave once he had met Ichia and they had Giovanni. George stayed with his girlfriend, who soon became his wife, and his daughter on the island. Their family continued to grow. Five years after Giovanni, Ike was born. Ichia, who lived in the Jewel District, built a life with her family there. A playful rivalry between eldest sister and Ike started to blossom and Ichia wanted badly for a baby boy. At the age of around seven, Ike learned in school about the beauty in the rest of the world. This place was spectacular, but as soon as that fact stood out in her mind, she immediately wanted to leave.
Ike and Giovanni were raised as ladies in the Jewel District, both went to the fancy boarding school there, and had much expected of them, though on their own, they were both simply rowdy teenagers. As they grew up though, Giovanni demonstrated her aptitude for pleasing their parents, while Ike always fell a little short. When Ike was nine, her parents brought twins home, named Yamada and Taro, both girls, both with wildly different personalities from the jump. As much as Ichia wanted a boy, she loved all her children the same, and wouldn’t turn down any child in need. Why, when a young girl by the name of Johnvieve was about fifteen years old, and Ike sixteen, the whole island went to hell, and Ichia agreed to take her in as well. The accident of 2022 took everyone by surprise, and a panicked Johnny and Ike stayed together when everything was thrown into chaos. Ike found her at the Airport where she was waiting for her parent’s flight to come in, and Ike was there to run away, though the tremor and the confusion quite sent those plans out of their minds. When Ichia met the young lady, she agreed to let her stay for a while, and then when it became clear that the island was to be on an indefinite lockdown, she contacted her parents and explained to them that their daughter was welcome. This was not an easy transition, but eventually, the Thurston’s realized that they had no other choice.
Ike grew more and more rebellious after the lockdown. Her and Johnny were in the same year because of Ike’s late birthday, so they shared a dorm room, and the two became fast friends. Ike has no problems calling her ‘sister’. She didn’t know Johnny was a Beta until she infected her with the ZETA virus. This is when Ike knew she was an alpha. The first time she transformed, she scared herself to death and nearly broke her dorm room; John was equally terrified. Once it was under control, they went straight to the headmaster, who then sent them to get tested and confirm their infection status. Relief swept over her to find out that she, along with Johnny and the rest of the family, were within the same dome.
Ike wanted more out of life than a fancy house and a well-paying job, like her parents. George had gone on to be a doctor, like his wife, and Giovanni was on her way there too. Ike found no way out of this life—a vicious circle of disappointing her parent’s and trying to do as she was told—until Giovanni ran off and married a Gomibako street rat. She seized this opportunity to stand up to her parents after her graduating from Rodenbach Academy, two years after the quarantine had begun. She wanted nothing more than to be a mechanic, and she had been studying machines and the way things operated for years in secret, much to her parent’s chagrin. She didn’t have their blessing to run off, but she did so anyway. Johnny followed, and together they got jobs (Ike as a transit technician, and Johnny as a waitress) in China Town, and rented a flat so they could continue living together. As far as Ike was concerned, George and Ichia thought their two eldest daughters as traitorous bad apples, and would just grind Yamada, Taro, and Lee’s noses more finely to the paper this time around. Years went by and her parent’s frigidity ebbed enough for her to at least visit and coo over the new baby. Johnny and Ike took to Adam Lee almost immediately, and they often take him to their home in China Town for visits.
Ike has worked as a bike repair/transit repair specialist for going on two years now, and is very good at what she does. She even managed to build her motorcycle from the ground up with parts of old ones lying around the shop.

+ Mitsunari Haneda

- One day when she was on her way out of Metroplex on a job she had been sent to do, she ran him over with her bike. It definitely wasn't her fault though, I mean who just zips out into the middle of the street unannounced like that? Whatever. She visited him in the hospital after that and asked him if he was okay out of courtesy (some habits are hard to shake). She felt guilty she had done all this damage even though it was Mitsu's fault and visited him every day he was there. The two easily became friends. Ike thinks of him as a good friend now, and they keep in touch. She finds his quirks and the fact that he’s still frightened of her motorcycle hilarious. If her trips to Metroplex aren’t for work, they’re usually for visits to Mitsu.

+Charlie Reid

– A co-worker at the shop. Charlie only works there part-time, and Ike, who pretty much believes that being a mechanic is her entire life, didn’t respect her at first on that sole basis. The two argue religiously and are often seen griping at each other’s throats. They have known each other for a fair amount of time now, and they’re still as stubborn and rowdy as usual, but by the way they talk to each other, it’s easy to tell that they are fundamentally friends, and enemies second. Their version of gossip is talking trash about people’s bikes and trucks (Oh my god, did you see that guy’s carbonator? His exhaust pipe looks like crap has his car ever even seen a carwash?). When they hang together, the atmosphere isn’t usually tense, but sometimes, their quarrels do end in fist fights, or with Ike picking Charlie up with her mind and moving her away from her to a corner or something (Which just infuriates Charlie more, usually).

+ She has tattoos: two birds above a banner that says 'Stay Strong'—the birds represent her parents; more birds (representing her siblings and Damien) below that, surrounding a heart with thorns and two big pink roses; a star on a little onto her forearm, curling around to her elbow where the last bird (Adam) comes out of. + On hand, she almost always has her Swiss army knife, and at least one set of her brass knuckles, just in case stuff goes down.
+ She’d rather go mano a mano with someone rather than use her powers, because she doesn’t know her boundaries just yet. She knows that using her telekinesis for a maybe a half hour won’t do anything, but depending on her psychic powers might get her in trouble. Her abilities wear her out, physically and mentally, if her limits are stretched.
+ In terms of sexual preference, she doesn’t discriminate between physical genders, but she is more attracted to feminine behavior. If asked, she’ll shrug and say something like “I’m mostly a skirtchaser.” To simplify things when asked, she calls herself bisexual.
+ I won’t say that she doesn’t have any feminine clothing, but apart from the occasional half shirt and shorts combo in winter, a few rings and necklaces, she mostly prefers men’s clothing. Her trusty leather jacket is men’s small, and she’s often seen in boy shorts/jeans and a shirt too big for her. She can look fashionable though, but in her own way.
+ For the life of her, she can’t seem to hang onto her belongings. She’s always losing them or tripping over them and breaking them.
+ Despite her clumsiness, she’s very steady handed when painting or working on car or bike repairs.
+ Coming from Rodenbach, she’s well versed in math, and has a gross vocabulary, but hardly uses these skills.
+ She is made uncomfortable by romantic contact, and physical contact in general with people who aren’t friends.
